The first time I met Harper and her parents was about a year ago at one of my client’s birthday parties. I captured an amazingly beautiful photo of her without much effort and, from then on, hoped I’d have the opportunity to work with her again. It was fun to see how much she had grown up over the last year. She still has the prettiest eyes and such an adorably shy personality. One of the things I love about working with children is that every session is different. We started off with lolly pop’s and Miss Harper lit up, then like most of my summer sessions we ended near a fountain splashing water to cool off.
I was excited to find out that Harper will be a big sister soon which was an added element during this session. Of course I couldn’t shy away from taking a few photos of mom. I look forward to seeing this family again and am glad I finally had the opportunity to work with them. I hope J & N enjoy these first few! Thank you again, it was wonderful working with you guys – J
As a reminder I’m now on facebook – check out Jenny Peppers Photography!
Immediately following this session I texted a close friend and said, “I have no words…that session was amazing!”
I was beyond excited to head down south to meet this couple. When Kim contacted me back in May, we discussed only one location, the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens. I received a few helpful tips from a friend that had their engagement session there over a year ago and never looked back or second guessed the location. These gardens are amazing and were the perfect backdrop for this couple. Mario and Kim were wonderful to work with (and did I mention she brought her own stylist along?)! If you’re in the South Florida area and looking for someone to do makeup and or hair, contact Katie Dougherty (K.M.Dougherty16@gmail.com)- she was awesome to work with!
Back to Mario and Kim….who by the way are adorable!! They have a fun and honest love for one another which was so easy to capture. I wish them all the best as they begin their lives together and look forward to keeping intouch.
M & K thank you for contacting me and hope you enjoy the photos – J
P.S. For those of you who don’t know, I’ve finally started a page on Facebook “Like” Jenny Peppers Photography! Happy Friday Everyone!
These two always keep me on my toes during sessions! They are the most adorable 1.5 year old twin boys and I just love every moment of working with them (mainly because no moment is the same)! This time was fun because “we” (when I say “we,” I mean their parents) went from trying to get them positioned on large rocks to trying to make sure they didn’t lick the rocks! Only to finish up by the pool area in an all out effort to keep them away from the water (look how well that worked out).
I typically leave these sessions exhausted and head home wondering how mom and dad do it every day – kudos to them for being amazing parents!! It’s always a pleasure J & J. I hope you all had a great vacation and glad I could join you for a little bit. Can’t wait until next time, XO – J
P.S. This family photo is probably one of my favorites. Not because every thing is perfect and everyone is sitting perfect, but because this is a true representation of this family at this time in their lives.
