I took a much-needed break over the past couple of days. I really didn’t have a clue what the “holiday season,” in a photographers world, would bring me this year but let me just say it was an eye opener and a blessing at the same time!
I love photography and enjoyed working with all the families I saw between the months of October, November and December! I’m grateful and am looking forward to 2011. If you’ve been following me for a while, you know I’ve been drooling over Epiphanie Camera Bags. I’m happy to say that Santa (aka my boyfriend) knew I’d been good this year!!! Lola and I are becoming great friends and she’s already been her first road trip (more on her later)!
Back to Lola’s first road trip and the weather. I’m a born and raised Floridian so when the temperatures drop below 65, I tend to bundle up. I think it’s fair to say that this week has been chilly and Monday was probably the coldest day of the week. I jumped in the car and headed over to Bradenton to photograph one of my favorite little guys and his entire family (you might remember him from his newborn session, wow he’s grown up)! We originally planned to do this session at the beach, but had to revise considering we had two children under the age of a year. We literally froze our tushies off and took shifts heading outside to photograph. This family braved the weather and I’m so glad they did!!
To the T’s, the B’s and the M’s, may your 2011 be as wonderful as your 2010! Oh and it was so great to finally meet Savannah; she is so beautiful and I love so many of the shots I got of her!! XO- J
They say mom’s-to-be have a natural glow about them. And although this mom was glowing in the most natural and beautiful way, I must admit as a couple these two were glowing together. I’ve known S for years and have always admired her for how wonderful of a woman she is inside and out, but it wasn’t until earlier this year that I met her outrageously entertaining husband!
These two have the most sincere and genuine love. A love that is growing because of a new baby boy and a love that was so easy to capture during our session. There were so many beautiful shots, which made it difficult to narrow down to a handful of favorites for this post. S & R, I can’t wait to meet Teo next year. You both will be wonderful parents and thank you so much for allowing me to capture this time in your lives! XO – J

I am a pet lover and treat my dog like family so I was excited when Harlee called asking about photos. Harlee and Princess met me at UCF for a quick session last Sunday. We knew it would be a great idea to photograph at UCF because these two are huge Knight fans!! Princess sported her custom UCF bandana as we walked the campus looking for great locations. Luckly, we were able to get inside the arena which made for some fun shots! I hope you enjoy this sneak peek and I look forward to next time! – J
P.S. Don’t forget to subscribe to Jenny Ann Photography which will make it easier to catch all my wonderful sessions as soon as I post them. Also, swing by tomorrow night for one of my favorite sessions to date!!
Sunday was my first time working with this family and I’m so glad they contacted me! Most of my clients are a little younger than Gavin so this was a fun session! The morning of their session I woke to overcast skies and scattered showers which happened to be right near our location. Luckly, this family agreed to meet me so we could test our luck with the weather. I couldn’t be happier with the how everything turned out and I owe it some what to the weather and of course to this beautiful family. I hope to see you guys again next year! – J
There’s nothing like a cute kid dressed as santa clause to help remind you that the Holiday’s are right around the corner!! Lil’ Nicklaus did just that for me on Saturday as I joined his mom and dad for their family session. I think Nicklaus entertained EVERY family that passed by and I know why…he is just the cutest lil’ guy ever especially dressed as Santa! It was so wonderful to work with this family and I hope to have the opportunity again in the future. Bye, Bye and Happy Holidays – J
P.S. It was another busy weekend, swing by tomorrow for a new session!
